Tukhvatshin Rustam Romanovich

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Born in 1951. In 1975, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.

Currently, he is the chairman of the Medical Council of the Ministry of Health, head of the Department of Pathological Physiology at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.

He is a well-known specialist in the field of pathological physiology. His research focuses on studying the characteristics of the course of experimental high-altitude pulmonary edema against the background of previous pneumonia, the etiology and pathogenesis of high-altitude cerebral edema, and methods of its therapy. His inventions have been repeatedly demonstrated at the VDNH of the USSR and the VDNH of the Kyrgyz SSR, as well as at international exhibitions.

Laureate of the State Prize in Science and Technology of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Awarded with Honorary Certificates from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Under his supervision, 4 doctoral and 30 candidate dissertations have been defended.

He has published more than 200 scientific works, including 7 monographs and 15 methodological recommendations for doctors and students, and is the author of 10 inventions.
