Usupbaev Akylbek Cholponkulovich

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor. Born in 1956. Graduated from the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.

Currently serves as the Director of the Republican Scientific Center of Urology at the National Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

He is the Head of the Department of Urology and Andrology at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.

Chief Urologist of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 2000, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Clinical and functional relationship of urolithiasis with diseases of the digestive organs, their treatment and prevention."

He is a member of the World Urological Association (1997), a member of the European Association of Urology (2001), and a member of the Association of Turkic-speaking countries (2005). President of the Republican Scientific Society of Urologists of Kyrgyzstan (2001).

He has published more than 214 scientific works, including 4 monographs. Author of 14 inventions and 16 rationalization proposals.

Under his supervision, 12 candidate and 2 doctoral dissertations have been defended.

Honored Health Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic, awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Kyrgyz Republic.

1. Method of metaprophylaxis of urolithiasis. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 421, 2000.
2. Method for diagnosing asymptomatic urolithiasis. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 457, 2001.
3. A scale for determining stone density. Preliminary patent of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 420, 2000.
4. Method of surgical treatment of orchiepididymitis. Patent under the responsibility of the applicant of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 611, 2003.
5. Method of using antidepressants for chronic pelvic pain. Patent under the responsibility of the applicant of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 704, 2004.
