Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan Launch Pilot Project on Navigation Seals for Road Transportation

From December 1, 2025, to January 15, 2026, a pilot project initiated by the Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan will begin regarding the use of navigation seals for road transport between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

The use of seals will be voluntary and free for all categories of goods directed:

To participate in the project, carriers should contact the tax authorities at their place of registration and the GNS Management for the control of large taxpayers in Bishkek and the northern region.

As indicated by the GNS, the implementation of the pilot is taking place within the framework of a memorandum signed on August 22, 2025, between the Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan and the Committee for State Revenues of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan.

The goal of the pilot project is to refine the process of applying seals, increase the transparency of trade turnover, expedite control procedures, and prepare businesses for the future mandatory implementation of the cargo tracking system within the Eurasian Economic Union.
