Recently, the President of Russia approved the temporary import of goods from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan without mandatory labeling under a simplified scheme, which will be in effect until December 10. As a result, about 1,500 vehicles with cargo crossed the border into the Russian Federation, as reported by the Federal Customs Service.

In the agency's statement, it was specified: "Compliance with the established requirements is not considered a violation of customs obligations or labeling norms provided for by Russian legislation. As of November 12, 1,491 vehicles have arrived in the country."

According to the new decree, goods can be imported without labeling provided that the recipients are Russian legal entities. Additionally, the carrier must have a written notification from the recipient for the Russian customs authority regarding the obligation to declare the cargo in accordance with the current customs legislation.

It is worth noting that the EAEU conducted a pilot project on the labeling of goods, which allows countries to track the movement of products across the territory of the union, their origin, and characteristics without additional procedures. At the end of September, Mikhail Mishustin, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, confirmed the system's readiness for full launch within the framework of the EAEU, which was agreed upon at a meeting of the heads of government of the member states in Minsk.
