If the proposal is approved, 15,000 vehicles corresponding to codes 8703 80 000 3 and 8703 80 000 5 according to the EAEU Customs Code will be allowed to be imported into the country duty-free. At the same time, only citizens of Kyrgyzstan will be able to use the electric vehicles.
It is worth noting that in 2025, Kyrgyz citizens were able to import 10,000 vehicles without internal combustion engines duty-free, but the limit was exhausted by the end of September.
