As part of this pilot project, Russia does not plan to equip freight vehicles with GLONASS systems for vehicles involved in transportation.
The list of wood subject to transportation using navigation seals includes items such as unprocessed timber, barrel wood, split logs, piles, stakes, and wooden posts that are not sawn along, as well as rough-hewn timber used for the production of various products, including umbrellas and tool handles. The list also includes wooden sleepers for railway or tram tracks, as well as timber that has been processed by sawing or planing and has a thickness of more than 6 mm.
The order comes into effect on September 26, 2025.
