In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, a temporary moratorium on the collection and use of a number of plants is introduced until January 1, 2027, for the purpose of nature conservation and protection of rare species.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the list of prohibited plants includes:

- macrotomia;

- arnebia;

- ash tree;

- aconite;

- aflatun onion;

- rhodiola;

- Samarkand everlasting;

- Olga's beetle;

- long-stemmed beetle;

- columnar beetle;

- Chimgan beetle.

The collection, processing, purchase, sale, transportation, and export of these plants are strictly prohibited.

The main goal of this ban is to preserve the populations of wild plants, prevent the depletion of their root systems, bulbs, and other underground parts, as well as to protect the natural environment of their habitats.
