These measures are the result of a resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers, adopted on November 5, 2025, under number 949 "On Measures to Reduce the Electricity Deficit".
According to the explanations from the Ministry of Education, after all classes are completed, within 60 minutes, including time for cleaning, it is necessary to disconnect the power supply to the classrooms.
However, this rule will not apply to engineering systems and equipment necessary for the operation and preservation of buildings.
Exceptions will also be made for facilities that provide accommodation for students, such as dormitories.
Furthermore, the ministry clarified that the number of lessons in schools will not be reduced.
