In Bishkek, the implementation of a dual education program for students has begun. This was reported by the press service of the Bishkek city mayor's office on November 5.

At Vocational Lyceum No. 100, the new initiative was launched during an open house event, aimed at the early professional training of schoolchildren.

One of the first to join this project was School No. 68. Students from this school became acquainted with the fields offered by the lyceum, including welding, installation work, and auto repair. The training for the first students will begin in the coming days.

The educational process will be organized on a practice-oriented principle: students will combine classes with practical lessons in the lyceum's workshops, allowing them to apply the knowledge gained in practice.

This initiative is being implemented in the context of the transition to a 12-year education system. In the new format, students will be able to study both general education subjects and professional skills.

As noted by the press service of the mayor's office, this model of education will help students to make career choices in advance and acquire the necessary practical skills.

Dual education implies that theoretical knowledge is obtained in educational institutions, while practical skills are acquired in real workplaces at enterprises.
