The Deputy Mayor emphasized the need for prompt response in such situations and participated in a conversation with the parents of the affected children.
The city administration also issued an order requiring all educational institutions, regardless of their ownership, to strictly follow the rules for organizing meals.
Any deviation from the approved menu, which was developed and agreed upon with medical specialists, is prohibited.
The city administration strongly urges school directors to pay attention to ensuring the safety and quality of students' meals.
It was previously reported that there was a mass poisoning at one of the private schools in Bishkek. On October 31, 58 people sought help at an infectious disease hospital, including 54 children and 4 adults. All of them had eaten shawarma in the school cafeteria. Of these, 7 children and 2 adults were hospitalized, while the remaining 49 received outpatient treatment after examination.
According to the information from the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, a total of 84 people were affected. Of these, 79 sought treatment at the Republican Clinical Infectious Disease Hospital, where tests were conducted, including analyses of rinse water and stool. The remaining five victims visited private medical facilities.
