In the Kyrgyz Republic, plans are in place to strengthen tax administration for large companies, as well as to introduce support measures for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. This was reported on the air of Radio Sputnik by Nurbek Ismail uulu, head of the tax policy department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

He noted that within the framework of the EAEU, mandatory labeling of goods is regulated by the national laws of the member countries. Thus, in Russia, 21 goods are subject to mandatory labeling, in Belarus — 10, in Kazakhstan — 8, in Kyrgyzstan — 3, and in Armenia — 2. The main goods falling under this category are alcohol, tobacco products, and goods that are subject to sanctions.

The Ministry of Economy has developed a draft government resolution that introduces navigation seals for goods crossing the border. These seals will be used within the EAEU to enhance control over large importers and ensure tax payment.

Freight carriers and companies that have previously been noted for violations will be required to install navigation seals. Goods will be checked at the destination warehouses.

Nurbek Ismail uulu also emphasized that all goods entering within the Union must be accompanied by the necessary documents and labeling. If entrepreneurs correctly and timely prepare all documents, there are no issues at the border.
