The Ministry of Labor of the Kyrgyz Republic proposes a new standard for providing prosthetics to those in need.

The Ministry of Labor, Social Welfare, and Migration has initiated a discussion on a new project concerning the standard of public service for the manufacture and provision of prosthetic and orthopedic products. This project is aimed at citizens who need prosthetics but do not have official disability status.

According to the proposed document, the provision of prosthetics will be implemented based on referrals from medical specialists. The new standard is part of the Unified Register of Public Services and is mandatory for the Republican institution responsible for prosthetics.

The project outlines key aspects such as the procedure for providing the service, deadlines for its execution, requirements for service providers, and mechanisms for quality control.
