On December 3, 2025, the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic approved a new regulation regarding fees for money transfers. According to this document, from January 1 to December 31, 2026, commercial banks and payment organizations will not be entitled to charge fees from recipients of international money transfers made within the territory of Kyrgyzstan without opening a bank account.

This measure is aimed at protecting consumer rights and improving the accessibility of money transfers for citizens, which is particularly relevant in the context of modern economic realities.
