The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan has published a new calendar of religious events for 2026. According to this calendar, the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan (Orozo Ayi) is scheduled for February 19, and Kadir Tun (the Night of Destiny) will be celebrated on the night of March 16-17. Orozo Ait will take place on March 20.
Kurban Ait in 2026 is planned for the period from May 27 to 29.
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan noted that the dates corresponding to the Hijra are determined based on calculations from international astronomical centers.
