Organizations and enterprises under the control of the city hall are recommended to limit themselves to only official final events without additional expenses. Instead of festive parties, they are encouraged to use the allocated funds to assist low-income families and social institutions.
It is worth noting that earlier, Kamchybek Tashiev, the head of the GKNB, called on civil servants to forgo New Year's corporate events. The Bishkek city hall has already prohibited its structures from holding such events. Furthermore, due to the electricity shortage, large restaurants and cafes are banned from operating after 10:00 PM.
