As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health, the meeting addressed guarantees for the uninterrupted functioning of medical institutions on election days, as well as interaction with electoral commissions to clarify the lists of patients undergoing treatment. Additionally, emphasis was placed on the readiness of ambulance teams and on-duty doctors who will be working at polling stations.
The meeting also touched upon the importance of maintaining political neutrality. Leaders of medical organizations were reminded that medical workers should avoid any forms of political agitation, expressions of preference, and participation in election events.
In this regard, the Ministry issued an order that strictly prohibits healthcare workers from participating in campaigning activities, regardless of their format. Violations of this directive will be regarded as disciplinary offenses, which may lead to accountability, including administrative measures.
The Ministry of Health urged leaders at all levels to conduct explanatory work among staff and ensure control over the adherence to the principle of political neutrality in all medical institutions across the country.
