“Obtaining a license on time helps avoid penalties”
The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reminded entrepreneurs engaged in the retail sale of medical devices, including optical goods and hearing aid centers, about the necessity of complying with new legislative requirements regarding the mandatory licensing of their activities.
This requirement was established by the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution dated December 14, 2023, under number 678, which pertains to the licensing of certain types of activities.
Among the medical devices for which a license is required for sale are: glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids, and other medical devices registered in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Ministry of Health recommends that entrepreneurs:

- Contact the licensing department for medical and pharmaceutical services in advance to obtain consultations on the necessary documents and the application process.
“Obtaining a license on time will ensure the legal and stable operation of enterprises, reduce the risks of fines, and help comply with legislative requirements in the field of medical device circulation,” the ministry emphasizes.
