With the approach of the New Year holidays, the internal affairs bodies of Kyrgyzstan have intensified their actions, switching to an enhanced work mode, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service.

On the night of January 1, more than 12,000 police officers will be deployed across the country to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain public order.

In anticipation of the holidays, the leaders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including the First Deputy and other deputies, conducted garrison formations and drill inspections across all regions of the country. They assessed the readiness of the units to carry out the assigned tasks in the field.

Additionally, the heads of the main departments and divisions of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were appointed as responsible for regional units to coordinate actions and control during the holiday period.

The law enforcement agencies emphasize that enhanced police patrols will be on duty in places of public gathering, including streets and public spaces. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is taking all necessary measures to ensure peace and safety during the New Year holidays for residents and guests of the country.
