
With the approach of the New Year holidays, there is an increase in the import of goods of the corresponding assortment in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the State Customs Service, statistics show a significant increase in the import of products that are in demand ahead of the holidays.
From the beginning of November to December 18, about 46 tons of goods for the New Year and Christmas celebrations were imported into the country, including artificial Christmas trees, garlands, and various decorations.
In addition, fruits, which traditionally hold an important place on the New Year’s table, also saw an increase in imports. During the specified period, the following were imported into the country:
- oranges - 442 tons,
- pineapples - 474 tons,
- persimmons - 218 tons,
- and nearly 7 thousand tons of tangerines, which are a symbol of the New Year.
The agency emphasizes that it ensures the prompt clearance of all cargo batches so that goods reach consumers in a timely manner, thereby creating a festive atmosphere in every home.
