According to information received from the Kremlin, President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed a decree extending the simplified procedure for the import of goods by road transport from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. The preferential procedure will be in effect until December 25 inclusive.

In the published document, available on the legal acts website, changes compared to the decree of October 24, 2025, No. 778 are specified, where the date of December 10 was previously indicated.

The new measures come into effect upon the signing of the decree and are aimed at ensuring the continuation of preferential customs procedures at the border between Russia and Kazakhstan.

It is worth noting that within the EAEU, a pilot project for the labeling of goods has been launched, which allows states to monitor the movement of goods, their origin, and characteristics without additional procedures. At the end of September, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the system's readiness for full launch within the EAEU, which was confirmed at a meeting of the heads of the cabinets of ministers of the union countries in Minsk.
