Starting December 1, a pilot project will be launched in Kyrgyzstan, which involves the use of navigation seals for road freight transport between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, according to information from the Customs Service.

The innovation will be implemented on a voluntary basis and free of charge. Seals will be applied during the transportation of goods through the checkpoints "Ak-Tilek - Road" and "Karasu" in the following directions:

The installation of seals will take place at the checkpoints along the route, while their removal will occur at the destinations in Bishkek or Almaty, as well as at the border between Kazakhstan and Russia during transit shipments.

To participate in the project, carriers should contact the tax authorities at their place of registration.

The agency noted that this initiative will allow testing the cargo tracking system, improving the transparency of trade turnover, and speeding up control procedures.
