More than 3,200 trucks entered Russia with cargo from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan
According to information from the Federal Customs Service of Russia, 3,205 trucks with goods have entered the country from Kazakhstan. The process of their clearance is being carried out in a simplified mode, as reported on the official website of the agency.

The agency also noted that there are only 13 days left until the expiration of President Vladimir Putin's decree, which allows the import of goods from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan without the need for documentation.

Once the cargo is on Russian territory, the carrier is required to declare it by December 27. After that, it will be permitted to remove the cargo from the temporary storage warehouse and deliver it to its destination.

Previously, long lines of trucks were observed at the border between Russia and Kazakhstan, caused by measures to combat "black imports" and prevent the entry of sanctioned goods. These actions were agreed upon by the authorities of both countries.

At a press conference in Bishkek, Vladimir Putin commented on the situation with truck queues at the border. He stated that it was instructed to conduct selective inspections, which revealed that many trucks were crossing the border without the necessary documents.

“We have a common market, but each truck must have the appropriate set of documents. It is necessary to understand where the goods are headed and who should pay VAT upon receipt. We are facing 'black imports' entering our customs territory, which leads to the loss of tens of billions of rubles,” noted Putin.

The customs services agreed on the need to pre-specify the value of the goods and the recipient.

“Let it be within the framework of the green corridor, but let something be paid. From the new year, our customs will require all documents during selective inspections, and without them, passage will not be allowed, up to confiscation. Order must be established,” emphasized the Russian president, adding that by the end of the year the queue may disappear, and thousands of trucks have already been allowed through.
