For successful license registration, taxi drivers will need to provide the following documents:
A copy of the identity card.
A certified copy of registration with the State Tax and Duties Department (STDD)
(for drivers working through taxi information systems, a certificate of absence or presence of debts is required).
A document confirming the payment of the licensing fee.
A mandatory civil liability insurance contract for carriers.
A copy of the employment contract with a legal entity or fleet that has the appropriate safety class.
A vehicle registration certificate.
A power of attorney or car rental agreement.
A technical inspection report.
Driver's license category with at least three years of experience.
A medical certificate.
A certificate of no criminal record.
The agency added that individuals with convictions for serious and less serious crimes will not be granted a license.
It is also emphasized that transporting passengers requires special responsibility, and compliance with all requirements is related to the safety of citizens and the legitimacy of taxi operations.
