Deputy Head of the municipal enterprise "Universal" Mirbek Murataliev reported that the decoration of the tree and the surrounding area is currently being finalized.
“The tree is adorned with over 1500 New Year decorations, as well as hundreds of meters of glowing garlands. Last year, about 2000 decorations were used for two trees. Since the installation of a tree near the akimat is not planned this season, some of the decorations were transferred to the tree at the House of Culture. This year, we focused on decorating the park sidewalks, adding artificial fir branches, patron lamps, and LED strips in the shape of a tent over the fountain, as well as glowing icicles. The stage in the square is also being decorated for the upcoming holidays,” said Mirbek Murataliev.
In addition, festive installations and a photo zone will appear in the square, where local residents and guests can capture New Year moments.
The ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree is scheduled for December 23 at 5:00 PM.
