Today, in some families in Kyrgyzstan, you can still find toys that are over half a century old. These items were created at the factory in Kara-Balta.
Soviet children played for many years with toys such as airplanes, cars, boats, and lunar rovers.
However, in the 1990s, the factory closed down, like many other enterprises in Kyrgyzstan, and remained idle for more than 20 years. Currently, thanks to the attraction of investments, a new textile production facility has been opened at the site of this factory in Kara-Balta.
