Among the participants of the celebration were the city mayor Aibek Junushaliev, Vice-Speaker of the BGC Zhyldyzbek Abdraymov, as well as representatives of city services and local residents.
In his address, the mayor congratulated everyone present on the upcoming New Year.
After the official part, the event continued in the format of a concert program.
This year, the tree, which is 35 meters tall, was decorated with approximately 7,000 ornaments. The decoration work was carried out by specialists from the municipal enterprises "Bishkeksvet" and "Tazalyk."
