The city's mayor, Aybek Junushaliev, reminded in his speech that starting from May 2024, the city administration has been collaborating with a Japanese company that developed a development concept for Bishkek. Based on this concept, a draft of the general plan was created and presented for public discussion on October 25.
According to the mayor, the city administration has received more than 200 official proposals and comments regarding the general plan. If we consider inquiries through various platforms, their number exceeds 3,000, and in the context of surveys, it is more than 10,000. "We have been monitoring discussions on social media and noted numerous questions and expert opinions regarding this project," he added.
