On December 15, a ceremony was held in Naryn to mark the lighting of the city's main New Year tree.
According to the city administration, the height of the new tree is 12 meters, and its width is 4 meters. This year, 47,000 soms were allocated for its decoration.
“We have been decorating this tree for the seventh year now, but each time we introduce something new,” noted representatives of the city administration.
In the near future, the traditional “Mayor's Tree” will also take place, to which 250 children will be invited, including orphans, children with disabilities, and honor students from various districts of the region.
“The organization of the Mayor's Tree is funded from the local budget, with 400,000 soms allocated for this purpose,” added the municipality.
