During this inspection, numerous violations were discovered. For instance, 45 tons of fresh cabbage from Kyrgyzstan and onions from Kazakhstan were accompanied by invalid phytosanitary certificates. Additionally, 11 tons of fruits and rice from Kyrgyzstan exceeded the actual volume by more than 10% compared to what was stated in the certificates.
Furthermore, discrepancies were found in the documents for 63 tons of sunflower seeds, where the data on the phytosanitary certificate did not match the transport documents, leading to their invalidation. Another 44 tons of onions from Kazakhstan also had invalid certificates, and 20 tons of fresh pomegranates from Afghanistan lacked the necessary labeling on the packaging.
All of the aforementioned products, totaling 183 tons, were prohibited from entry and returned to the senders.
Since the beginning of 2025, 2,500 vehicles containing over 40,000 tons and 3.7 million pieces of quarantine products have been inspected at this section of the border. Violations were identified in approximately 1,100 tons, as well as 62 cubic meters of timber and 144,000 pieces of decorative greenery.
