Among the detained cargo were:
- 562.5 tons of various products;
- 70,515 seedlings;
- 11,387 flowers;
- 136 cubic meters of timber.
Appropriate measures were taken against the violators of phytosanitary norms: return, destruction, or disinfection of the detained cargo.
In addition, official notes regarding the identified violations were sent to the competent authorities of China and the Netherlands through diplomatic channels.
The Department emphasizes that phytosanitary control plays a key role in ensuring environmental safety, preventing the import of dangerous quarantine organisms, and protecting domestic agriculture. The measures taken contribute to the stability of the agricultural market and the preservation of the country's export opportunities.
