According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, duck meat from Kyrgyzstan was not allowed across the border. This was the result of violations detected at the veterinary control post "Kordai".

Specialists from the territorial inspection of the veterinary control and supervision committee recorded two attempts to import animal products with violations. In one case, 1,000 kilograms of duck meat were attempted to be imported in a cargo vehicle. During the inspection, it was found that the product lacked labeling, the vehicle did not meet veterinary and sanitary requirements, and there were incorrect details in the accompanying documents.

As a result, the product was returned to the sender, and the driver faced administrative responsibility.

Additionally, one of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan was found to have 162 cans of caviar in their hand luggage, which did not have any veterinary documents. The caviar was also returned, and the violator was held administratively accountable.
