The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Increases Gold Reserves - World Gold Council

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan continues to expand its gold and foreign exchange reserves, as reported in materials from the World Gold Council.

According to the latest data, in October 2025, central banks around the world actively increased their gold reserves, acquiring a total of 53 tons of the precious metal.

The National Bank of Poland has re-entered the market, purchasing 16 tons of gold, which allowed it to increase its total reserves to 531 tons, making it the largest buyer of the precious metal.

The Central Bank of Brazil is also continuing to build its reserves, adding 16 tons of gold for the second consecutive month.

Among other buyers of precious metals, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan (9 tons), Bank Indonesia (4 tons), the Central Bank of Turkey (3 tons), and the Czech National Bank (2 tons) stand out. The central banks of Ghana, China, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines also acquired more than 1 ton of gold each.

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan increased its reserves by 2 tons, placing the country 15th in the world in terms of gold purchases among central banks.
