The board of the national regulator approved its establishment on October 10, 2025. According to the Ministry of Justice, the bank was registered on October 20, and it has no foreign participation.
According to information from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Jarkynbek Sagyndykov has been appointed as the director of "Berekett Bank," who previously held the position of chairman of the board at "Bai-Tushum Bank."
According to data published by several media outlets, the founders include Nurdoolot Nurghozhoyev, the younger son of President Sadyr Japarov, as well as former speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Marat Sultanov.
Currently, the bank is in the process of completing the organizational procedures necessary to obtain a license and commence its operational activities.
The establishment of "Berekett Bank" occurs against the backdrop of an increasing number of new banks in the country: in 2025, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has already approved the founding documents for institutions such as "Alma Finance Bank," "Muras Bank," "Asman Bank," and "Kylim Bank."
