Kyrgyzstan is actively increasing its gold reserves, as confirmed by data from the World Gold Council.
According to this organization's information, our country has ranked 15th in the world for two consecutive months in terms of gold purchases by central banks. In October, the regulator recorded the acquisition of 2 tons of this precious metal.
It is noteworthy that by October, Kyrgyzstan's gold and foreign exchange reserves reached nearly 8 billion dollars, which is 3 billion 20 million dollars more compared to the same period last year.
It is also worth mentioning that a new building of the National Bank was opened in Bishkek, which has a storage facility capable of holding up to one thousand tons of precious metal.
