Kyrgyzstan has made it into the top ten countries that actively purchase cheese and cottage cheese from Russia, as reported by "Agroexport".
According to data, in the first eight months of 2025, Russia exported over 21 thousand tons of cheese and cottage cheese, amounting to nearly 110 million dollars. This is 17% higher than the figures for the same period in 2024.

The most active buyers of this product remain Kazakhstan and Belarus. Last year, the top 10 list also included Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, China, Georgia, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan.

Earlier, Artem Belov, the general director of the National Union of Milk Producers "Soyuzmoloko," reported that a 9% decrease in the import of Russian dairy products is expected this year. He noted that the industry's performance has been affected by the slowdown in business income growth and rising prices for dairy products.
