The grand opening of the new building of the National Bank took place in Bishkek, attended by President Sadyr Japarov.

In his speech, he noted that Kyrgyzstan has faced challenges in storing gold and foreign exchange reserves.

“Previously, the storage conditions were not optimal, and we often had to trust our gold reserves to foreign banks. Now, the National Bank has the largest storage facility in the country, compliant with international standards, which can hold up to 1000 tons of gold. We can now not only securely store our reserves but also offer precious metal storage services to clients,” the president added.

Sadyr Japarov emphasized that the opening of the new building and modern storage facility is a significant step in strengthening Kyrgyzstan's financial sovereignty and enhancing its banking infrastructure.

The president expressed confidence that the new structure will become a symbol of stability and transparency in the country's financial system.
