Talas Police Transitioning to Enhanced Duty Mode

A parade inspection took place in Talas, during which law enforcement officers and public order services demonstrated their readiness for the upcoming early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh.

According to information from the press service of the Talas region's Internal Affairs Department, the event was held on November 27 in the square in front of the regional Internal Affairs Department building. The inspection was attended by the first deputy representative of the president in the region, Maksat Baidzhigitov, and the chief of police, Baktybek Narchayev.

During the wait, the deputy representative of the president assessed the readiness of the police, emergency rescue workers, energy sector employees, medical personnel, communication specialists, and community volunteer groups for the elections. The equipment and vehicles of all involved services, which will be active on the voting day, were also checked.

Baidzhigitov emphasized the importance of enhancing efforts to prevent offenses both before and during the elections, noting the necessity for each agency to clearly fulfill its duties. He also reminded that the participation of public servants in campaigning activities is unacceptable.

Chief of the Internal Affairs Department Baktybek Narchayev stated that the personnel and equipment are ready to operate under increased responsibility. He noted that the police will switch to an enhanced mode, ensuring safety and monitoring the traffic situation on election day.

To ensure public order at polling stations in Talas, around 400 police officers will be deployed on November 30, along with documentation groups and service vehicles. Simultaneously, emergency service personnel, energy workers, and medical staff will be on duty at the polling stations.

The inspection concluded with a march of the personnel and equipment involved in the elections.
