According to sources in the CEC, among the accredited observers are representatives from the Central Election Commissions of Bulgaria, Russia, Belarus, and Egypt, as well as staff from diplomatic missions and international organizations.
Among them are:
- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation;
- The embassies of China, the USA, Japan, Hungary, and the United Kingdom in Kyrgyzstan;
- The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the OSCE;
- The CIS Observer Mission;
- The Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking States (TURKPA);
- The Parliamentary Assemblies of the OSCE, CIS, and CSTO.
As of today, the total number of accredited international observers is 297, and they will monitor the voting process and compliance with electoral legislation on election day.
