
In a live broadcast on Birinchi Radio, the Deputy Head of the Public Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Nurlan Ismailov, shared information about the number of law enforcement officers involved in maintaining public order during the campaigning activities related to the upcoming early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, scheduled for November 30 of this year.
According to him, there are 2,492 polling stations operating in the country, where more than 5,000 police officers are already working. He also noted that the "day of silence" preceding the parliamentary elections will require special attention from law enforcement, and on that day, more than 10,000 officers will be on duty to prevent possible violations.
