The Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service (GNS), Mirlan Rakhmanov, shared information with Birinchi Radio about the increase in the number of citizens who have started using electronic tax services.
He noted that thanks to the digitalization of tax processes, it is now possible to pay taxes remotely through personal accounts and mobile applications. "Currently, almost 1.5 million people are using the taxpayer's cabinet, which is 160,000 more compared to the beginning of the year," Rakhmanov reported.
The Deputy Chairman of the GNS also emphasized that the agency is gradually transitioning to a service-oriented model, creating more convenient conditions for citizens and businesses in the field of taxation.
"Previously, people had to visit tax authorities in person, wait in line, and fill out documents manually. Today, all information and payment options are available online. In the taxpayer's personal account, one can easily find out about their debts, deadlines, and amounts of tax payments," he added.
Rakhmanov also pointed to a noticeable improvement in tax culture among citizens and an increased trust in the Tax Service, which is a result of efforts to enhance interaction between government structures and taxpayers.
