On the air of Birinchi Radio, Uzarbek Zhilkybaev, a member of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic, reported on the number of candidates for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh who paid the electoral deposit. According to Zhilkybaev, the deposit was paid by 507 candidates, and the total amount was 147 million 50 thousand soms.
However, the CEC member did not provide clarification regarding the fate of the funds of those who were denied registration as candidates for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh.
