Attending the event were the authorized representative of the president in the Osh region Amanakan Kenjebaev, the mayor of Osh Jengishbek Toktorbaev, the deputy minister of internal affairs Erkebek Ashirkhodzhaev, the head of the Osh region police department Nurlanbek Burkanov, and other leaders of law enforcement agencies, as well as personnel.
During the inspection, the service uniforms of the staff, technical equipment, and readiness to perform tasks during the holiday period were checked. Instructions were also given on ensuring public order, preventing crime, and road safety.
The head of the region noted that during the New Year holidays, the regional police would operate in an enhanced mode and urged citizens to comply with the laws and pay attention to safety measures.
“More than 1,000 employees will ensure public safety in the region during the holiday days. The police will be on duty around the clock to ensure the tranquility and safety of citizens,” the statement said.
