In Osh Region, two villagers with disabilities were visited

On December 4, in honor of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is celebrated on December 3, the presidential envoy in the Osh region, Amankan Kenjebayev, visited several homes of citizens with disabilities living in the region to familiarize himself with their living conditions.

This information was provided by the press service of the presidential envoy's office in the Osh region.

The first person he met was Ruslan Kadyrov, born in 1996, a resident of the Uzgen district, who is a Group I disabled person. The envoy spoke with his mother, Elmira Kadyrova, a single parent, and learned about their social needs and living conditions. During the visit, gifts were presented. Ruslan receives a monthly allowance of 8,000 soms, while his mother receives 7,681 soms for personal assistant services.

After that, Amankan Kenjebayev headed to the Kara-Kulja district, where he visited the home of Gülzhigit Tagaev, born in 1976, who is raising four children. Gülzhigit has needed a wheelchair for 9 years and is also classified as a Group I disabled person. He was also presented with gifts.

As of today, there are 34,881 people with disabilities living in the Osh region. In this regard, a special month has been declared in the region, during which events aimed at supporting people with disabilities are being held.
