The press service of the Osh region Internal Affairs Department reported that during this event, checks were carried out on firearms belonging to citizens who hold permits for their storage and carrying.
As a result of the checks, two firearms were seized for which there were no documents. In addition, 27 citizens who violated the rules for the registration and storage of weapons were held accountable in accordance with paragraphs 133 and 134 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, resulting in fines totaling 81,000 soms.
To prevent possible incidents, seals were placed on the safes where the weapons were stored for 11 citizens who are currently outside the country, and they were temporarily sealed.
