According to the information, from November 21 to 22, an operational and preventive event called "Arsenal" was conducted in the region, aimed at ensuring public safety.
As part of this campaign, organizations and institutions with licenses for carrying and storing firearms were checked, as well as compliance with ammunition and explosive storage regulations. Special attention was paid to the storage conditions of firearms by hunters. Additionally, explanatory conversations were held, during which it was communicated that voluntary surrender of illegally stored firearms could exempt individuals from criminal liability.
As a result of the conducted campaign:
Two individuals voluntarily handed over their firearms to law enforcement authorities;
Protocols were drawn up against six citizens who violated storage and re-registration rules, and they were fined 18,000 soms;
Considering that five registered citizens traveled abroad, their firearms were temporarily blocked by sealing the safes in which they were stored, in order to prevent accidents.
