Operational information about a local resident using drugs and storing prohibited substances was received by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Moscow District on November 13. Law enforcement officers began an investigation.
Based on the collected materials, criminal cases were initiated under Articles 283 ("Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs without the purpose of sale") and 267 ("Illegal trafficking in weapons and ammunition") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detainee turned out to be 57-year-old U.R. The judicial authorities decided to arrest him.
During a search of his residence, the following items were discovered:
- two bags of cannabis weighing a total of 240 grams (138 and 102 grams);
- a homemade smoking pipe;
- a plastic bottle;
- a homemade pistol;
- a sawed-off shotgun;
- a grenade;
- eight ammunition rounds;
- one cartridge;
- one shell;
- a box of gunpowder;
- two knives.
