The incident occurred on November 20, when information was received at the Internal Affairs Department of the Alamudun District about the detention of a man who was found with hashish in his hood. The results of the examination confirmed the presence of the narcotic substance. This case was registered under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal manufacture of drugs without the intent to sell.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the detainee is a member of an organized criminal group and has a criminal record. Law enforcement also learned that he had purchased drugs from another member of the organized crime group, residing in one of the districts of Alamudun. As a result of a search at the home of the second suspect, 5.6 grams of hashish were found.
The suspects have been identified as B.A., born in 1986, and I.A., born in 1990. Both have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
