An unknown assailant attacked an elderly man, who is 81 years old, pushing him and stealing his cane and walker. As a result of the attack, the pensioner sustained a fracture of the neck of the right femur with displacement.
This incident has been registered under Article 206 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning robbery.
Police officers responded quickly to the incident and soon identified the suspect — 43-year-old J.A. At the time of his arrest, he was in a state of intoxication and attempted to resist. A sharp object was found on him during the arrest. The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
An investigation is currently underway.
