According to information provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Osh, employees of the Ak-Buura police station received data indicating that one of the citizens in the city was engaged in the distribution of a narcotic substance known as "hashish." To verify this information, the operatives received the necessary instructions.
While checking the received information, the officers established that on November 10, the suspect was near a café on A. Shakirov Street. The operational group of the Ak-Buura police station detained him — this individual, who had previously had legal issues, is a resident of Osh. During a personal search, 3.44 grams of "hashish" were found on him.
During the interrogation, the detainee confessed that he had hidden the drugs for further sale in two locations in the village of Shark in the Kara-Suu district, in an apple orchard. Checking the specified locations led to the discovery of narcotic substances pre-packaged in plastic. The examination showed that the total weight of the seized hashish amounts to 829.22 grams.
A criminal case has been initiated based on part 1 of article 282 ("Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale") of the Criminal Code. The suspect, H.R., was placed in a temporary detention facility on November 10.
The Osh city court has determined a preventive measure in the form of detention until January 14.
According to the Internal Affairs Department, the suspect H.R., born in 1965, has previously been prosecuted several times for similar offenses. Currently, measures are being taken to ascertain his criminal connections and sources of drug acquisition.
