The incident occurred on July 18, when a local resident K. G. (born in 1986) reported to the Karakol police about the theft of two smartphones of the Redmi Note 14 model and one Note 14 Pro, which were stolen along with their packaging.
Based on this report, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and soon the suspect — M. E. (born in 1991) — was detained.

During the preliminary interrogation, the detainee fully confessed to committing the crimes and revealed details about 29 thefts previously committed in the same store.
Currently, the materials of the criminal case have been transferred to the court for further consideration.
